Can a non-resident get a Brex card without an SSN?
Yes. Brex underwrites mainly on the cash sitting in your connected business account rather than a personal credit check, so there is no SSN requirement. You still go through identity verification with your passport. What matters is a properly formed US entity, an EIN, and a funded business bank account.
What Brex actually looks at
Balance and activity in the business account, not a personal credit file. That is why founders with no US credit history can still be approved, and why an empty account is the usual reason an application stalls.
Where an ITIN fits
An ITIN is not required by Brex. It is useful for personal tax filing and for some card applications elsewhere, but the Brex decision runs on the entity and the money in it.
