Payoneer or Airwallex for a US LLC?
Short answer
Both work without a US LLC, but an LLC smooths approval and opens more of each platform. Neither replaces a US bank account. Some processors and marketplaces only accept standard US bank details, which is why many founders run one of these alongside Mercury or Relay rather than instead of them.
What they are good at
Receiving in several currencies and paying contractors abroad without converting twice. That is the gap a USD-only US account leaves open.
What they do not replace
A US account with standard routing and account numbers. If a platform insists on those, an e-money account will not pass, so plan on holding both.
